Welcome to PetParent. By accessing or using the PetParent mobile application and related services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as needed.

The AI Symptom Triage feature is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for your pet's health concerns. PetParent is not liable for any decisions made based on the AI triage results.
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by PetParent and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any data you input into the Service.
By submitting content (including pet data, photos, and health records) to the Service, you grant PetParent a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process such content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
When you share pet records or information with pet sitters or veterinarians through the Service, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to share such information. PetParent is not responsible for the actions of third parties with whom you share your data.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may also delete your account at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PetParent and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which PetParent operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the app or by other means. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
